My desire is that you (and I) will deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ, grow and mature in your knowledge of the scripture, and be moved to obey and spread the Gospel; the Good News that Jesus came to earth – God in the Flesh – to save sinners like us from our deserved punishment by taking it upon Himself. Jesus exchanged our sin for His righteousness so that we could experience His love, walk in victory over sin, and bring the whole world into reconciliation with God.

On this site, I share posts from my first blog, Intimacy Journals, which is written as part of my day-to-day relationship with God, my joys, puzzles, and fears. This blog includes bible studies on various topics, from “Charismania” (discerning the real from the fake) to Hearing God. I have taught scores of bible lessons over decades as a small group leader, children’s pastor, and women’s pastor.

Made for group or self-study., some studies are more directed than others. Some will take you a bit of time as you pour over scripture and journal what you learn. ALL are based, first and foremost, on the Word of God, which I believe wholeheartedly as the Authority.

I believe in a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, the God-Man, as the mediator and sacrifice for our sins. I believe in the indwelling Holy Spirit who speaks to and through us and makes a relationship with Jesus possible. By

We are meant to engage with God as we read, including wrestling over His intention, bringing our confusion and our faith to Him. We can expect Him to speak to us through His Word because that is what words are for!!
